                      During the General Elections, the Triple Voting out-
                      lay is a stark feature, in which voters cast ballots
                      for Presidential, Directly Elected Member of Parlia-
                      ment and District Woman Member of Parliament.
                      The Local Government Council Elections also use
                      the  Triple  Voting  outlay  for  Chairperson,  Directly
                      Elected  Councilors and  Women  councilors  who
                      form one third of the Council.

                      The  Electoral  Commission is conducting  contin-
                      uous voter education through outreach programs
                      in  Educational  Institutions,  Industries/Factories
                      and  targeted  groups  of  Stakeholders  throughout
                      the country to enhance people participation in the
                      electoral process.

                                                                             To enhance voter participation in the electoral ac-
                                                                             tivities.

                                                                             To utilize appropriate channels in the conduct of
                                                                             continuous voter education.

                                                                             To take voter education services nearer to the peo-
                                                                             ple.

                                                                             To  create  awareness  on  the  electoral  process
                                                                             through massive sensitization of stakeholders.

                                                                             The  Electoral  Commission  appeals  to  the  Public
                                                                             therefore, to embrace the voter education outreach
                                                                             program to enhance their awareness and partici-
                                                                             pation in the electoral process.
