• Poll workers shall keep the polling stations well ventilated.
• Voters shall maintain a distance of at least one meter (3.3 feet) from other poll workers, observers
and voters. Voters shall maintain distance of one meter even while waiting in the queue.
• Voters shall spend less than 15 minutes inside the polling station.
• Observers and poll watchers will also follow distancing practices.
• All polling stations across Serbia will display posters with instructions for poll workers and voters.
• A public service announcement video and radio message will also air in the days leading up to
June 21 to inform voters of their responsibilities in protecting themselves and others against
COVID-19.
• Though mask was not mandatory for voters, majority of them used masks.
Counting and Results
Serbia’s Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) was obliged to deliver final results within 96 hours
after the end of voting. Preliminary results were expected to published hours after closing of polling
stations. Voter turnout in the elections decreased from 56.07 per cent in the 2016 parliamentary
election to 48.88 per cent .
