7. Polling Station will be prepared duly following social distancing norms in such a way that each
Polling Officer is at a physical distance of 3-6 feet.
8. Social distancing will be ensured between Voter, Polling Agent and authorized Political Party
representative by duly marking positions on the floor of the Polling Station.
9. All Polling Officers will be provided Gloves, sufficient sanitizers and other PP Equipment.
10. A separate jar with sanitizer will be provided to sanitize the Pens ear-marked for polling purpose.
In some States, CEO’s are provisioning for single use Pens.
11. The RO’s will furnish the Do’s and Don’ts along with polling instructions to all Electors (MLAs).
Special flexies will be arranged outside the Polling Hall and at the entrance of the building
highlighting the COVID-19 guidelines.
12. Separate special training will be imparted to the staff and Officers participating in the Election
process with regard to COVID-19 instructions and necessity of taking adequate pre-cautionary
and preventive measures.
13. Waiting Halls/ holding areas are being provisioned for Voters, duly maintaining adequate social
distancing before and after the poll.
14. Adequate distance will be maintained by the Counting Staff, Agents in Counting Hall.
